Freelancing at BookMason Indie
We pride ourselves on providing our authors a premium experience while working with us, so we ensure that each professional who works on their project has enough real-world experience to do so.
All of us have worked in the traditional publishing world for at least four years. The types of individuals who work best with us are those who have been freelancing for several years at a small, medium, or large publishing house, have or had full-time employment at a publishing house, or have received requisite training in their fields.
By filling out this form, you prove to us that you have enough experience in the publishing field to work on our clients’ projects. Top-rated candidates furnish a professional reference and a link to a portfolio that showcases their work.
We are only accepting applications from US-based candidates at this time. Please enter the state in which you currently reside on the form.
All freelancers are to be considered 1099 employees and are responsible for any taxes owed to federal, state, and local governments. You will be asked to sign a W2 form for tax recording purposes.
Unfortunately, we cannot approve every individual who wants to work with us. We will be sure to update you if this is the case.
